PPD is pleased to announce the successful delivery of its innovative LWAC®-M2A1 Light Weight Ammunition Cases for fuzes for 155 mm grenades. The delivery marks another important milestone in PPD’s commitment to providing advanced, compliant, and cost-efficient ammunition packaging solutions to defence forces and industry partners worldwide.
The LWAC®-M2A1 is part of PPD’s new generation of logistical and tactical lightweight plastic ammunition cases. Designed as a full drop-in replacement for traditional steel boxes, the system fully complies with all relevant military requirements and standards. The development has been carried out in close cooperation with end-users and the ammunition industry to ensure optimal operational performance.
